Blaney Schools To Open Sept. 6

The Blaney public school will open for the 1951-1952 season on Thursday, September 6, at 9 a.m., according to an announcement by H. W. Rast, superintendent. A teachers’ meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 5, at 3:30 p.m.

The faulty has been named as follows; First grade, Mrs. Charles E. DeLoaches

Mrs. Ruth B. King; second grade, Mrs. George D. Bennett; third grade, Mrs. Sally Koon; fourth grade, Mrs. H. W. Rast; fifth grade, Mrs. Elizabeth Rose; sixth grade, Mrs. Katherine B. Cribb.

High School: H. E. Burns, principal, history and science: Mrs. George H. Thompkins, English and history; Miss Vera Copeland, home economics and science: Mrs. Frances I. Holman, English and social studies: Leon Whetstone, Commerce and mathematics; Raymond F. Taylor, agriculture; and Mrs. Carol H. Hall, piano and pubic school music.
