Denmark, Aug. 16 – The Denmark schools will open at 8:45 a.m. September 5, according to an announcement by L. J. Hendrix, Superintendent of the local school system.

The faculty for the schools is announced as follows.

High school; Mrs. Dessie Steadman Denmark, social science, Miss Frances Smith, Furman, commercial; Miss Elizabeth Cox, Conway, librarian and science; Miss Anne Reynolds, Pinewood, English; Miss Joyce Rose, Blaney, home economics; Carol Cox, Camden, coach and mathematics; U. G. Milhouse, Jr., Denmark, agriculture; Miss Martha Perkins, Chester, English and French; C. E. Buttes, Jr., Denmar, principal and science; W. A. Scaffe, Bamberg, hand.
