Blaney Wreck Victim in Fairly Good Condition

Mrs. Ollie Heath of Blaney, who was injured in a head-on automobile collision Thrusday night about five miles out on the Farrow road, was termed as being in a “fairly good” condition by a Baptist hospital official.

The car in which Mrs. Heath was a passenger was struck by a 1942 Chrysler driven by Samuel Roof, 25, of Route 3 Columbia. Both cars were termed as being beyond repair.

According to the investigating officer, Highway Patrol Man M. O. Riley, Roof’s care was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck the left side of the car in which Mrs. Heath was riding. Mrs. Heath’s husband, who was driving the 1940 Ford, was uninjured.
