Dentsville and Ridgeway Split

Ridgeway, Feb. 8 – Ridgeway high school split a doubleheader with Dentsville here tonight. The Ridgeway girls defeated Dentsville 46-23 with June Cooper scoring 28 points for the winners, Jean Barlett was high for Dentsville with 18. In the boy’s game it was Dentsville 46, Ridgeway 31. Upper 5th Meet Starts at Camden

Camden, Feb. 6, – The Midway boys and girls and the Baron de Kalb boys and Blaney girls won opening round games of the upper Fifth district class C basketball tournament here tonight. Midway girls defeated Antiock 38-33 while the Midway boys won over Antioch, 40-23. Blaney girls beat Baron de Kalb, 44-39, and the Baron de Kalb boys beat Blaney, 34-25.
