James A. Sanders, 76, died at 10:30 Thursday morning, December 29, 1949 at the home of his brother, John F. Sanders, of Blaney.
Mr. Sanders, formerly of Jasper, Fla., had been a resident of Blaney for the past two years. He was a member of the Spears Creek Baptist church.
He was survived by his brother and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were conducted at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, December 31, 1949 from the Spears Creek Baptist Church. The services were conducted by the Rev. A. L. Wood, assisted By the Rev. W. T. Jeffers. Interment will be in the churchyard.
Active pallbearers will be Walter Bowen, Ernest Bowens, Frank Sanders, Earl Sanders, Jimmie Sanders, and Arthur Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers were E. J. Campbell, Lester Moak, Gary Goff, Eddie Goff and John Goff
