Lee – Paschal Wedding Held at Great Falls

Great Falls – The wedding of Miss Mary Addelyne Lee of Great Falls and Columbia and Alvin Raymond Paschal of Blaney took place at 5 p.m., September 17 at the great Falls Presbyterian church. The Rev. John Steele performed the ceremony.

Otis Robbins, organist and Julia Cloninger, vocalist presented a program of nuptial music.

Elmer Paschal, brother of the bridegroom was best man.

Cecil Lee of Rock Hill, brother of the bride and E. J. Wilson of Blaney were ushers.

Mrs. Dan H. Horton, the former Miss Mary Lewis Lyon of Johnston, dame of honor, wore a suit of woodbine blue with black accessories. She carried a colonial bouquet of asters centered with pink rosebuds and tied with matching satin ribbon.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, Asa B. Lee, Sr., wore a suit of white gabardine with brown accessories. She carried a white Bible topped with a purple-throat orchid, showered with white tuberoses.

Mrs. Lee, mother of the bride wore a forest green faille dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds.

Mrs. Paschal, mother of the bridegroom wore a black crepe dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds.

Mrs. Paschal is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Asa B. Lee, Sr., of Great Falls. She was graduated from the Great Falls high school and the school of nursing of the Columbia hospital, and since her graduation has been on the graduate staff of the hospital as general supervisors, and she will continue her association with the hospital.

Mr. Paschal is the son of Mrs. W. F. Paschal and the late Mr. Paschal of Blaney. He was graduated from Blythewood high school and for the past several years has been engaged in farming and grocery business.
