Fredna Vernelle Shannon Davis was born September 9, 1920.

Mrs. Vernell Davis, 28, of Route 2, Blaney, died this morning, June 8, 1949, at her home.

She was the wife of William V. Davis. Mrs. Davis was a member of Spears Creek Baptist church and a life-long resident of her community.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Thelma Jo Anne Davis and Katie Jo Anne Davis, two sons Charlie W Davis and Samuel W. Davis, three Bothers, Edward J Shannon, John H Sannon and Walter T. Shannon Jr., all of Blaney, one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Roff, Great Falls.

Funeral services were to be conducted today at 4 p.m. at their Spears Creek baptist church by the Rev. A. S. Lockee, Interment was to be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbeaers will be Otto Jacobs, Alonzo Jacobs, Jr., Claude Motley, Dewey F. Martin, Jr., Hollie Goff and Colie Motely.
