Camden (Special) – At a meeting of the Kershaw county Democratic executive committee, held here Saturday, it was decided to advance the date for the filing of entries in the election the coming fall to June 15.
Speaking dates were announced as follows; At Camden, June 16 at 4 p.m.; at Blaney, August 2 at 10 a.m.; at Pine Grove school, August 2 at 4 p.m.; at Bethune July 12 at 10 a.m.; at Mt. Pisgah, June 13 at 10 a.m.; at Kershaw, July 21 at 10 a. m.; at Westville, July 21 at 4 p.m.; at Antioch, August 6 at 10 a.m.; and at the Hermitage Mill, August 7 at 3:30 p.m.
Entry fees for Candidates were established as follows; House of representative, $75 if opposed, $150 unopposed; clerk of court, $200 if opposed, $400 unopposed; magistrate Upper Wateree, $25 if opposed; $40 unopposed; Buffalo township $50 opposed, $80 unopposed; Flat Rock township, $25 opposed, $40 unopposed.
Superintendent of education, $150 opposed, $300 unopposed; master, $80 opposed, $100 unopposed; game warden, $75 opposed, $150 unopposed.
Fees for entry are to be paid to James Roseborough, treasure of the committee before June 15.
