A hayride and wiener roast were given by Miss Libby Amick and Miss Helen Wood for a group of young people of Lower Richland high school. Those attending were: Mildred Cook, Ethel Aliney, Anne Milne, Midget Long, Jerrie Amick, Azile Corley, Bennie Wiggins, Wade Epps, Ricky Godshell, Dukei Marshall, Bo Long, Gene Long, Lud Milne, Rufus Addison and Ronnie Godshall.

Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Page, with Mrs. R. B. Amick, motored to Augusta, Georgia, Sunday to visit Mrs. Lura Bell in an Augusta hospital, where she still remains critically ill.

Mrs. G. R Hughes visited friends on Pineview drive Sunday.

Miss Julia Kirkland attended the graduation exercises at Blaney recently.

Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Crenshaw of Columbia visited Miss Julia Kirkland of Bluff road.

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Thorpe visited Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson in Columbia.

The Bluff Lodge home Demonstration club met at Adams Community clubhouse Thursday afternoon. Mrs. John Douglas was the hostess. Miss Laura Conner put on an interesting demonstration. The hostess served cookies and iced drinks.
