3 Accidents Reported; 1 Man Injured

Thee accidents in which one man was hurt and hundreds of dollars of property damage resulted were reported here last night, Traffic Capt. B. F. Pruitt said.

The toll added to the heavy traffic losses which have occured here so far in November.

James Carter, 23 of Route 2, was taken to the Columbia hospital at 6:30 o’clock last night for treatment of injuries sustained when the truck he was driving overturned at Taylor and Huger streets, Traffic Officer Cecil C. Derrick reported. Estimated $50 damage resulted to the vehicle.

A taxi driven by Collie E. Evelyn, 31, of Columbia, accidentally collided with the rear of a second cab driven by James C. Williams, 2024 Huger street, yesterday afternoon in the 1700 block of Main street and $150 damage resulted. Traffic Officer A. W. Davis reported.

A taxi, driven by Harvey Lee Hall, 23, of 1809 College street, and a pick up truck operated by Charles W. Wooten, 38 of Blaney, collided yesterday in the 1800 block of Two Notch Road, and estimated $175 damage resulted. Traffic Officer T. E. Stricklin reported.
