Miss Mary Frances McCullough is spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs. B. R. McCullough, in Blacksburg.

T. J. Blakewood is visiting his mother, Mrs. N. D. Blakewood, in Scotia.

Mrs. Miriam Warren and Betty Price are enjoying visits with friends and relatives in Walterboro.

Miss Edith Thompson is spending the weekend with her father, Charles Thompson, in Union.

Miss Helen Moseley worked temporarily with one of the motor express freight lines of this city last week.

Miss Caroline Bowers is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Bowers, and Scotia.

Mrs James Kelley (Bernice Mattox) a former pupil, accompanied by Mrs. Barney Cooper of Blaney were welcomed visitors in the college Thursday. Mrs. Kelley came by to see her sister, Miss Lillie Belle Mattox of Blythewood, who recently entered the college.

Misses Almeta Nelson and Bonnie Lou Wilson are visiting their parents in Antreville.

Miss Mae Hiott is the guest of friends and relatives in Walterboro.

Miss Martha Jane Mims is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Mims, in Manning over the weekend.

Walter Cates has accepted a permanent position as accountant with a well-known lumber company in Columbia.

Miss Erlene Gandy and Alicia King are visiting relatives at ther homes in Hartsville.

Miss Emily Ard is spending a weekend with her paretns, Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Ard, in Johnsonville.

Miss Helen Hiers is visiting her parents in Ehrhardt and will return to school Monday.

Miss Ruby Jordan is spending the weekend at her home in Johnston.

Miss Carolyn George is enjoying a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. George, in Smoaks.

Miss Marian Corbett is at her home in Springfield visiting her mother, Mrs. Lessie Corbett.

Misses Dorothy Lane, Mildred Johnson, Blanche Harmon, Winnifred Register and Grady Hammond celebrated birthdays during the past week.

The following students entered the college Monday; Misses Lucille McCormick, Nichols; Barbara Pender, Columbia; Billy Jolly, and Frank Cox, Conway.

Newly elected officers of the recently organized Columbia Commercial College club are: Ralph Floyd, president; Miss Reba Duncan, vice president; Miss Martha Parler, Secretary and treasurer. Program committee; Miss Connie Baughman, Miss Joyce Parler and Kenneth Hartley. All former students interested in joining the club may contact Ralph Floyd, president of the club.
