W. C. James, assistant state supervisor of vocational agriculture, has at the present time entry forms from 64 embers of the Future Farmers of America to exhibit calves in the second annual fat stock show and sale to be held in Columbia, Monday and Wednesday. Member from eight FFA chapters will participate. These chapters are: Blaney, Chesterfield, Columbia, Dentsville, Hollywood, Lexington, Saluda and Swansea.
Blaney will be represented by Clayter Campbell, Andres H. Brown, James C Goff, Melvin Dowey, Kenneth Moore, Tommy Rabon, Jasper Moak, Preston Goff, Roy Strickland, Olin Goff, Fred Ross; Chesterfield, by Dale Shaw, Gilbert McLain, Dan Jones, T. H. Douglas; Columbia, Pat Vinson; Saluda, Hammand Buckington, David Crouch, Robert Able, John L. Able, Oscar Able, Elmer Riddle, Johnnie Quattlebaum, Floyd Crouch, Joe Long, Earl Forrest, Baron Crawford, Valmore Kirkland, La Fonde Lindler, Edward Miller, Voygt Corley; Swansea, Bob Pat Lucas. Lexington will have six entries, Dentsville 19 and Hollywood in Saluda county two. Names of these boy are not all available.
