Staff Sgt. Zackariah Edward Stroman, the only one of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Oscar Stroman of West Columbia, has been serving in England the past nine months. He is an honor graduate of Blaney high school and has been in service for the past four years. His wife, the former Miss Mary E. Shiver, and small daughter, Mary Kadette, are making their home in Columbia.
