Columbia College May Day exercises will take place at 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon on the college campus. These are being held for the first time since 1942.

Margaret Neeley of Columbia will be crowned as May Queen and “Lib” Fitch Green of Lake City will act as maid of honor.

C.; Inez Dantzler, Eutawville; Lillian Williams, Walterboro; Marion Garvely, Lake City;  Margaret Durant, Hemingway; Miriam McDonald, Floysdale; Anne Jones, Barnwell;  and Sally Rice, Florence.

The public is invited to attend the coronation exercises.
