Many Visit State Park

STATE PARK, Jan 4. – Devotional services were held at the chapel on Thursday evening for the patients and employes of the sanatorium. THe Rev. Hopkins Weston of Trinity Episcopal church conducted the worship services. Bed patients hear the message over the public address system. The Sunday School class met on Sunday morning and the lesson was taught by Miss Pearle Gregory.

On Wednesday evening ambulant patients saw the movie “This Land is Mine.” It was shown through the courtesy of southeastern film distribution agency.

Recent guest of Miss Mildred Prince included Mrs. Flossie Silgh of Newberry, Mrs. Mary Sligh and Mrs. Ethel Sligh of Whitmire and Billy Sligh, United State Navy.

Miss Reba Cochran recently entertained Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Dean and Alice Dean of Macon, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Jameson and Irene Jameson of Elizabeth City, N. C.

Sunday guest of Miss Nettie Gault were Dr. and Mrs. H. B. Wate of Jonesville and Miss Belle Gault of Charlotte, N. C.
