Mrs. W. T. Ratcliff and Mrs. B. W. Brannon and daughter of Bethune, were guest Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Vaughan. Mrs. Vaughan has been quite ill at her home on Marion avenue recently, and her friends will be glad to know she is improving.

Monday afternoon the Ladies Aid of State Street Baptist Church met at the home of Mr. B. A. Joyner with Mrs. A. K. Rucker as assistant hostess. The devotional for the afternoon was the study of Second Samuel. The regular business followed the devotional and later a social hour was enjoyed. Among those present were, Miss. Genevieve Lindsey, Mrs. T. M. Floyd. Mrs. R. E. Davis, Mrs. S. B. Batley, Mrs. W. H. Johnson. Mrs. S. K. Abbott, Mrs. J. P. Rutler and one visitor, Mrs. Ehrilch.
The young Woman’s Auixillary of the Cayce Baptist Church held its regular monthly business and social meeting Monday night at the home of Miss Kathleen Catoe with the following member in attendance, Miss Louise Cannon.
