EASLER SERVICE

Funeral service for Joseph David Easler, Sr., 59, of 718 Maryland street, were to be held at 4:30 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints interment following in Olympia Cemetery. The service were to be conducted by Elder Astor V. Cleveland and Elder O. H. Joyner.

Mr. Easler died Saturday afternoon at his home, following an illness of several months. He had lived in Columbia for the past 40 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nellie Viola Brazzell Easler of Columbia; five daughters, Mrs. E. P. Browder of West Columbia, Mrs. A. C. Hallman, Mrs. O. F. McQuatters, Mrs. L. C. Jacobs, and Mrs. R. A. Smith, all of Columbia; one son, Joseph D. Earle, Jr., of Columbia; one brother, R. H. Easler of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Rachael Bush of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Minnie Cook of Columbia, and Mrs. Sallie Sessions of Blaney.

Pallbearers at the services this afternoon were to be: Active – George Nunn, T. N. Neeley, W. A. Jacobs, B. A. Jacobs, Mendall Huckabee and Daniel Murray; honorary – James Harrison, Frank Bollick, Lee Middleston, Harry Cuclasure, A. C. Ricks and Frank Granham.

Funeral service for Joseph David Easler, Sr., 59, who died Saturday afternoon at his home at 718 Maryland street after an illness of several months, will be held at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, conducted by Elder Astor V. Cleveland and Elder O. H. Joyner. Interment following in Olympia cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be be: George Nunn, T. N. Neeley, W. A. Jacobs, B. A. Jacobs, Mendall Huckabee and Daniel Murray. Honorary pallbearers will be James Harrison, Frank Bollick, Lee Middleston, Harry Cuclasure, A. C. Ricks and Frank Granham.
