Three Injured By Automobiles; One Seriously

Three Colombians were injured last night in traffic accidents, one seriously, Police Capt. E. C. Wesson said.

H. A. Meetze, 47, of 1231 Confederate avenue, a barber at the Jerome hotel shop, received a skull fracture at 9:50 when struck at Lady and Assembly by an automobile driven by Jack Bowen, 64, of Blaney, according to the report of Captain Wesson, Lieut. W. T. Ivey and Officer M. L. Cherry.

A four-year-old child, James Shiver of 1701 Lady street, was struck by an automobile in the 1300 block of Barnwell street, Officer E. M. Hanna reported.

Robert Mitchell, 67, of 1103 Huger street recieved a knee injury when a automobile driven by Roger W. Meetze, 16, of White Rock, backed into him in the 1100 block of Huger street at 8:30, according to Sgt. F. M. McNeil, Jr.

All of the injury victims were taken to Columbia hospital.
