Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ramsey of Eastover visited in the home of Mrs. Ramsey’s sister, Mrs. E. L. Amick, last weekend.

Mrs. Walter Alcorn has returned home after a delightful visit with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irene B. Leslie of Thomasville, Ga.

Walter A. Griffin of Hainson, N. J., has returned home after visiting his aunt and cousin, Mrs. Abbie Saykin and Mr. and Mrs. James L. Glover and family of 2903 Clark street.

Johnnie Meetze, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Meetze, is spending the summer at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Branham (Mrs. Daisy Susanna Sloan Branham) of Blaney.

Mrs. W. F. Muller, Third, has returned to her home in Charleston after spending a week with her mother on Union street.

Little Shirley Ann Dutton is ill at her home on Clark street.

Mrs. W. M Crawford of Columbia avenue is spending a few days with friends in Whiteville, N. C.

Pfc. Clinton Spives, who is now stationed at Smyrna air base, Smyrna, Tenn., has recovered from a minor operation at the base hospital.

Miss Verona Hutto attended the graduation exercises at Swansea high school Thursday night.

Paul Hutto of Swansea visited his aunt, Mrs. H. W. Spires on Columbia avenue this week.
