Williams Collens, 73, of Barnwell,  died at his home late Saturday night, April 10, 1943.

Mr. Collens was survied by the following children: Carl Collens of Hilda, Harry Collens of Barnwell, Chester Collens of Blaney, David Collens of Army of the United States; two daughters, Mrs. H. Courteney, Salley; Miss Florence Collens, Hilda; one brother, J. S. Collens, Barnwell; four sister, Mrs. S. A. Hutto, Mrs. Reuben Hutto, Mrs. Herman Hutto, Hilda, and Mrs. Anna Rowell, Hilda.

Funeral services were conducted at 12 noon Monday, April 12, 1943 from Salem Methodist church, the Rev. Mr. Smith of Olar, officiating, assisted by the Rev. M. B. Webb of Barnwell.
