Margaret Alice “Maggie” Branham Stewart

Margaret Alice “Maggie” Branham Stewart was born January 28, 1878 in Kershaw county, South Carolina, to John and Eliza Branham.

Margaret Alice “Maggie” Branham Stewart, of Camden, died Saturday, June 1, 1940 at the Baptist hospital.

Mrs. Stewart had been ill since November, but had been in the hospital only seven weeks. SHe was a good Christina and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Camden.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by her husband, the Rev. W. C. Stewart; two sons, Eddie L. Stewart and Furman E. Stewart of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. J. S. Rabon of Columbia and Miss Agnes Stewart of Clinton; one brother, Robert Branham of Blaney. Four grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. W. C. Stewart. The rites were held at the Hermitage Baptist church of Camden by the Rev. A. S. Lockee, the Rev. A. L. Willis and the Rev. James G. Jennings. Interment was in the Quaker cemetery in Camden.
