Miss Mortie Marsh of Conway was employed during the past week by a Columbia concern.

Miss Amelia Hildebrand of Hagood has accepted a secretarial position in the city.

Miss Violet Brannen of Calhoun Falls is visiting Miss Vivian Tucker in Columbia this weekend.

Miss Ruth Singletary of Scranton is spending the weekend in Darlington with her sister, Mrs. J. M. Asko.

Miss Margaret Shealy is spending the weekend with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Shealy of Newberry.

Miss Esther Diamond is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kyler Mixon at their home in Barnwell this weekend.

Fred Wood is spendign the weekend with his mother, Mrs. E. O. Wood, in Denmark.

Miss Margaret Payne of Paris, Ky., is spending the weekend in Conway, where she is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Holliday.

Miss Mary Frances King is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. G. King, in Lake City this weekend.

Miss Florence Lachicotte of Pawley’s Island is spending the weekend with her parents, Mr. and MRs. W. F. Lachicotte.

Miss Geraldine Motley of Lake City is spending the weekend at her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Motley.
