Of much interest to the couple’s many friends is the marriage of Miss Margaret (Maggie) Blizzard to Columbia, formerly of Lugoff, to William Brady Buff of Lexington, which was solemnized Saturday evening, March 30, at 8 o’clock at Lutheran parsonage in West Columbia. The Rev. L. O. Dasher, Pastor of Mt. Herman Lutheran church, officiated in the presence of only members of the immediate families.
The Bride, unattended, was attractively attired in a dusty-rose crepe dress with black and white accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of Talisman roses and Easter lilies, tied with pink satin ribbon.
Following the ceremony, a two course wedding luncheon was served by Mrs. G. J. Buff, assisted by Mrs. George David Buff, at her home near Lexington.
Mrs. Buff is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Blizzard of Lugoff. She attended the Blaney schools and has been doing practical nursing in Columbia for eight years.
Mr. Buff is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Buff of Lexington. He attended the New Brookland schools and is now employed with the Columbia mills.
The bride and bridegroom will make their home with the latter’s parents.
