Henrietta Horton is visiting her father, V. J. Horton, in Angelus.

Bowen’s welcomes Vallerie Brown of Kershaw.

Bessie Campbell is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Campbell, at Blaney.

Kathleen Orr is the guest of Miss Nannie Ford in Camden.

Nina Rose is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Rose, at Blaney.

Aiken Croxton is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. McCombs, at Irmo.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacob of Philadelphia were the guest of Irene King last weekend.

Miss Amanda Proveaux of Olar was the guest of Mary Altman Tuesday.

Ernestine Hammond, a former student at Bowen’s, who has been at home quite a while because of illness, has returned to complete her course.

Eleanor Morris is spending the weekend with her parents in Olar.

Bowen’s students regret to lear that L. W. Green, a member of the faculty, has been ill.

Elizabeth Yarborough has completed her course at Bowen’s.

Evelyn Rush has as her guest Mrs. O. B. Ross a few days.

Willie Hedgepath will be the weekend guest of his parents in McBee.

Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Rush has as their guest last weekend their daughter, Evelyn.

THe students passing shorthand tests in March were as follows:

100-word test, Elizabeth Yarborough (2) and Lucy Gulledge (3); 80-word test, Aiken Croxton (2), Tasco Baxley (3), Mary Altman and Guy Shealy; 60-word test, Roy J. Brooms, Dot Deason, Pauline Williams (2) and Virgina Ruthven.

Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Fellers of Prosperity visited the school Firday, at which time they placed their daughter, Katherine in school.

Mr. and Mrs. W. W. McNeill, Jr., of Raleigh, N. C., visitied Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Bowen and Mrs. Ethel Reddick during Easter.
