Senator Visits State Park

State Park, March 9. — Col. S. M. Ward of Georgetown was a sanatorium visitor this past week.

Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Baker, Miss Beatrice Adcock, Miss Eunice Pittman, Mrs. E. R. Hoffman and Fred Taylor, all of Columbia, were Sunday guest of John Baker.

Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pate and Pete Pate of Winnsboro. Mrs. Camille Goodman and MRs. Roy Goodman of Columbia visited Mrs. Helen Pate Sunday.

F. M. McElveen of Turberville was the recent guest of Mrs. Corrie McElveen.

Miss Verna Bennett of Eau Claire Visited Miss Dell Hancock this past week.

Clarence Hall of Winnsboro spent Sunday with Mrs. Nora Hall.

Miss Gladys Hodge, Miss Julia Hodge and Miss Ruth English of Columbia were guests of Miss Lorraine McCartha this past Sunday.

The Rev. F. M. Hill of Gaffney visited F. M. Campbell Friday.

Mrs. Edward Foxworth of Centenary, Mrs. Mollie Bryant Milikin of Spartanburg and Miss Ruth Bryant of Rains visited M. E. Bryan at Campbell hall and and also George W. Coleman at the infirmary Sunday.

Weekend guest of Miss Lula Mae Underwood were: Mrs. Lula Underwood, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Greer, Mr. and Mrs. Iran Gunnells of Greenwood and Otho Williams of Blaney.

Mrs. S. C. McKenzie, Mrs. Joe Cribb, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Gunter and son, “Ducky” also Mrs. Billie Wolfe of Georgetown, George Sutton, Charlie Richardson, W. C. Jones and Robert Chandler of Sumter visited Miss Ruth McKenzie during the weekend.

The Rev. J. O. Smith, ,pastor of Washington Street Methodist church of Columbia, conducted the religious services held in the sanatorium chapel Thursday evening.
