Father-Son Banquet At Cassatt School

Cassattt, March 6. — The agricultural students at Midway high school were hosts to their dads at a father-son banquet held in the high school building Friday night, March 1.

The agriculture students presented a play, “The Trial of a Soil Robber,” which proved to be very entertaining as well as educational.

Following the play a fish supper was servedĀ  by the ladies of the community.

Those taking part on the program were: A. L. Spears, Troy West, J. W. Young, Cleatus Threatt, Roy West, Ralph Catoe, Carl Holland, Everett Young, John McCoy, students in the agriculture classes. Also Ford B Stanton teacher of agriculture and superintendent of the school; W. C. McCarley, county agent, Kershaw county; and P. G. Chastain, teacher of agriculture at Blaney high school.
