Bridal Couple Complimented

E. L Sharpe and his daughter, Mrs. Archie Lewis, entertained at a lovely dinner party Sunday at their home in College Place, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher S. Sharpe, a bride and bridegroom of Saturday. The party was also in celebration of the birthday of E. L. Sharpe and Mrs. Lewis, the former celebrating his on Saturday and the latter on Monday.

In the dining room a lovely arrangement of daffodils and breath of spring centered the table, and elsewhere in the house were narcissi and jonquils.

Mrs. Lewis was assisted by Mrs. C. E. Newman, Mrs. Asbury Martin, MRs. R. C. Harwell and Mrs. G. H. Sharpe.

The guests present, besides the bride and bridegroom, were: Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Newman and son, George, and daughter, Dorothy, Edgewood; Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Martin and daughter, Shirley Rose, Blaney; Miss Caroline Sharpe, Marion; Mrs. H. J. McLain and children, Lillian, Martha, Verna and Donald of State Park; G. R. Lewis, Gilbert; Miss Della Crouch, Blythewood; Arthur Smith and children, Hubert James, Thomas, Truette and Betty, Eastover; Mr. and Mrs. George Harwell and daughters, Mary Elizabeth, Edith and Anne and Omerle Harwell, Blythewood; Rayford Harwell, Cullman, Ala.; Miss Carolyn Lewis, Miss Marie Gentry, Curtis Sharpe, E. L. Sharpe, Jr., Mr and Mrs. R. C. Harwell and son, Jan, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sharpe and daughter, Ruth Marie, and Archie Lewis, all of Columbia.
