Camden, Oct. 14 – The first meeting of the year for the Kershaw Teacher’s association Thursday, October 12 was well attended by the teachers of the county. W. A. Schiffley, member of the state department of education and state commander of the American Legion gave a most worthwhile talk on “American Citizenship.”

The officer for the present year are: President, P. G. Chastain, Blaney; vice president, J. T. McLeod, Boykin; secretary, Miss Beatrice Ross, Blaney; treasurer, Mrs. Ethel Murchison, Camden.
