Mrs. L. B. Jeffcoat of West Columbia, wife of the Rev. L. B. Jeffcoat, pastor of the Union Baptist Church at Blaney was reported recovering yesterday at the Baptist hospital.

Mrs. Jeffcoat underwent a major operation at the hospital Thursday.

She is expected to be able to return to her home in two weeks.
