Miss Inez Livingston and Miss Vivian Livingston spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Livingston at Woodford.

Mrs. Pringle T. Youmans of Asheville, North Carolina, who has been spending several days with Mrs. L. C. Chappell, are returning home today.

Mrs. Charles E. Tiller is having a community party at her home Thursday evening, October 5, at her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin McCuen and little daughter, Barbara, of Pelzer, were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McGregor this week.

Charles E. Tiller was honored on his birthday Monday evening with a dinner party. For the occasion the dining room was gay with garden flowers and lighted candles. A beautiful birthday cake decorated with roses, ferm and pompon dahlias centered the table. A salad course with cocoa was served.

Mrs. J. N. Brown, Buster Brown and Betty Brown and Mrs. Virginia Haymaker of Blaney were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McGregor this week.
