Mrs. Quinn has returned after a visit to the World’s Fair in New York.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Borroughs of Conway are visiting Mrs. B. W. Heise on Lincoln street.

The Rev. R. W. Wilkes of Union visited friends in North Columbia recently.

Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Blair and daughter, Mary Blair, and Mrs. L. B. Blair visited Mrs. Dan Agnew in Winnsboro recently.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A Taylor and sons, J. E. Taylor and Roy Taylor, are on their vacation in Richmond, Va., and Washington, D. C., returning via the Shenandoah valley.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Y. Johnson spent last weekend in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Brazel has returned to her home on Tenth street after a visit to her sister.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Coggins have moved from 3303 River Drive to Atlanta, Ga.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Campbell spent last Sunday visiting in Sumter.

Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Saunders and daughter, Susan Saunders, spent last Sunday at Edisto.

The many friends of E. J. Orr, Jr., will be glad to know that he is improving at the Columbia hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Amick and son, Bill Amick, Mr. and Mrs. M C. Courtney and Niece, Mary Hall, will leave Sunday for a visit to interesting points in Washington, D. C., via the Shenandoah valley. They will be away for several days.

Miss Julia Mae Ballentine has returned home after her two weeks vacation at Myrtle Beach.

Mrs. Lillian Sligh and Mrs. L. M. Fellers visited relatives in Chester and Newberry the past week. Mrs. Fellers returned home after a visit of several weeks in Columbia.

Little Frances Connelly has returned to her home in Blenheim after a six week visit to her grandmother, Mrs. G. W. Smith and her aunt, Mrs. M. C. Courtney.

Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Hamiter and family visited relatives in Spartanburg the past weekend.

Mrs. H. L. Haltiwanger and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Adam Haltiwanger in Chapin the past Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Richardson have returned to their home in Portsmouth, Va., after visiting Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Fulmer.

Miss Addie Bell Lancaster has returned home after a week’s visit to her sister, Mrs. R. G. Yon in Orangeburg.

Little Frank Unger Lorick celebrated his fourth birthday with a little party given by his mother, Mrs. J. W. Lorick.

Miss Lottie McCarthy and Robert Dugan are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Rogers at Dalton, Ga.

Miss Cecil Steele, Miss Sadie Shealy, Fred Seasse, the Rev. Robert Kempson and Dick Webber, left Monday for California to attend the Luther league convention.

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Shealy and family will spend the weekend in Conway visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charles Borroughs.
