Miss Rebecca Simon of Darlington accompanied her sister, Miss Adelle Simon, to Columbia last Friday, Miss Adelle entered school Friday.

Mary Rabon spent Thursday night at her home in Blaney and will visit her parents again Sunday.

R. Winston Shilley of Tabor City, N. C., visited friends here last Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lawson of Philadelphia, Pa., visited last week, their aunts, Mrs. M. H. Bowen and Mrs. Troy Reddick, at the home of Mrs. Bowen in Palmetto Estates.

Margie Banks of Rion started her civil service course last Monday.

Misses Marie Caroline Long, Columbia; Jessie Ballentine, Blythewood, and Chris Shull, West Columbia, entered school last Monday.

Howard Finkbeiner of Laurens is visiting his parents Saturday and Sunday.

Prof. O. B. Seay was recently elected instructor by the Bowen executives. Mr. Seay is a graduate of Bowling Green Business university, Bowling Green, Ky. and holds a bachelor of commercial science degree from that university. Mr. Seay has taken charge of the typing, civil service and modern machines departments.

Guy Shealy will spend Saturday and Sunday with his parents in Leesville.

Eunice Sellars will be a guest in her home in Ruby over the weekend.

Sarah Shumpert of Pelion visited Marion Judy in Columbia last week.
