MRS. W. E. PARKER

Mother of Columbians Dies Near Blaney.

Blaney, Jan. 30 – Mrs. Mary Emma Parker, 74, wife of Willie E. Parker, died at her home near Blaney this afternoon. She had been in declining health for sometime and critically ill for the last night weeks.

She is survived by her husband; six children, Mrs. D. W. Atkinson, Mrs. W. H. Branham, Mrs. Henry Branham of near Blaney; Mrs. J. J. McKay and Mrs. D. E. Miles of Columbia; Mrs. W. E. Miles of Augusta, Ga. Also a number of nieces and nephews, who join with her numerous friends in mourning her passing.

Funeral services will be held at Harmony Baptist church near Blaney Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. A. L. Willis, in the churchyard.

Grandson will serve as pallbearers.
