Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Hill and family visited the deaths in Charleston the past weekend and while there attended the Salters-Hill wedding.

Guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Lesesne the past week were Mr. and Mrs. D. G. McKaughan of Dublin, Ga., Mrs. Nellie Taylor, J. M. Arnold, Mrs. P. H. Lesesne and daughter of Columbia.

Mrs. C. M. Jaudon of Tillman was the guest for the Christmas holidays of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Halford.

Miss Dorothy Nelle McElveen of Shiloh has been the guest of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. I. K. Dennis the past two weeks.

Mrs. Rena Curtis and daughter, Elizabeth Curtis, have returned home from a visit to Mrs. Floyd Craig in Tampa, Fla.

Mrs. E. P. Templeton visited Mrs. J. V. Neese in Savannah, Ga., last week.

Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Robertson spent Christmas in Atlanta, Ga., with relatives. Sara Maud Chandler who had been their guest for some time, returned to her home in Atlanta with them.

Miss Georgia Lou Goodwin of Fairfax and Miss Edith Goodwin of Savannah, Ga., are spending the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Goodwin.

Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Davis and children have been guests recenlty of Mr. and Mrs. F. N. Jones.

Guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. V. R. Truesdale the past week were Mrs. C. B. Rabb and E. D. Rabb of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Epting of Newberry, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Rabb, Mrs. Juilus Wanamaker and Miss Margaret Rabb of Orangeburg. Miss Margaret Truesdale returned home with Miss Rabb for a visit.

Mr. and Mrs. James F. Shirely and baby, were guests the past week-end of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Klugh in Abbeville.

Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Johnson spent several days last week with relative in Chappells and Newberry.

Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cayce have had as their holiday guest, Mr. and Mrs. Broughton Cayce and family of Jacksonville, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Everett Jarrett, Savannah, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. William Cayce, Greensboro, N. C., Mr. and Mrs. James F. Warwick and children, Billy Warwick and Bobby Warwick of Wilmington, N. C.

Guest during the week at the home of J. C. Craig were Miss Ruth Campbell of Petersburg, Va., George Wilson and daughter, Doris Wilson, of Sumter and Mrs. Robert Miles and children, Mary Miles and Carolyn Miles of Columbia.

The following have returned to their respective homes after having been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Shirley for the holiday season; Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Klugh and children, Collen Klugh and Frances Klugh, Abbeville; Mr. and Mrs. G. W. tucker and children of Willimington, N. C.

Guest of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Harrill this week were Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Caldwell and sons, Jesse Caldwell, Jr., and Lan Harrill Caldwell, of Cramerton, N. C., Bonneau Bedenbaugh and Jerry Gunsten of Charleston.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Abbott of Savannah, Ga., were recent visitors to the S. K. Abbotts and R. L. Brays.

Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Butler and daughter, Betty Butler, spent the past week-end with W. J. Butler and other relatives at Wilmington, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Wilds of Jacksonville, Fla., who were visiting there, and T. J. Butler and Bill Butler of Wilmington returned home with them for a short visit.

Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Harmon of Gaffney have been guests the past week of their son-in-law and daughter, the Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Reed.

Misses Hazel Conner and Evelyn Davis returned home Friday from Hardeeville, where they were the guest for a week of Miss Dorothy Stoner.

C., Mrs. Henry Morris and daughter, Miss Leone Morris of Olar, Mrs. David Layne and daughter Paula Layne, of Augusta, Ga., and W. H. Johnson of Blaney.

Hampie Bailey is spending the weekend in Savannah, Ga., with her aunt, Mrs. A. C. Smith.

Guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Baiely during the week were Mrs. H. M. Spradley of Gaston, Mrs. and Mrs. C. C. Hutto and daughter, “Patsy” of Swansea and Mrs. R. Cleve Smith of Columbia.

Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Beem of Charlotte, N. C., were weekend guest of Mrs. L. L. Corder.

Mrs. Lilly Addy and daughter, Helen Addy, of Leesville, were guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Addy.

The Intermediate Girl’s Auxiliary enjoyed a “watch” party at the home of Miss Betty Butler Friday night.

Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Crosby of Savannah, Ga., were week-end guests of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Crosby.

The Baptist Ladies’s Aid will hold its January meeting at the home of Mrs. W. L. Spigner Monday at 3:30 p.m.
