To Attend Out-of-Town Marriages.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh M. James and Miss Isabel Wells left Thursday for Quitman, Ga. They are in Quitman for the weding of Mrs. James’ sister, Eugenia Paul Tillman, and James R. McKenzie, and this marriage is to take place today at St. James Episcopal Church. Miss Tillman has been making her home in Columbia for the past few years. She is a member of Les Demoiselles and the Pilot club of this city and her many friends are glad to know that after her marriage she will reside in Columbia. Mrs. McKenzie, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Nelson McKenzie of Gibson, N. C., is associated with the General Motors Acceptance corporation in Columbia.

The wedding of Miss Mary Elizabeth Cuttino and Dr. Wesley James Snyder, Jr., which takes place in Sumter June 9, will be attended by many Columbians. Miss Cuttino is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Cuttino, and her marriage to Doctor Snyder will be solemnized at 7:30 in nthe evening at the First Methodist church of Sumter. A large reception will be given at the Country club immediately after the ceremony. Charles L. Cuttino, Jr., of Columbia will be one of the groomsmen and others from this city who expect to attend are: Mrs. C. L. Cuttino, Jr., Dr. and MRs. H. L. Timmons, Dr. and Mrs. E. G. Quattlebaum, Miss Lois and Marvin Quattlebaum, Mrs. Blaney Rackley and Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Quattlebaum.
