Elender Ann Cook

Miss Elender Ann Cook was born March 28, 1866, she was the daughter of the late T. D. Cook and Elender Ann Brown Cook.

Miss Elender Ann Cook, 72, died at her home on the Jefferson Davis highway near Columbia at 9:05 this morning, June 2, 1937 after a long illness.

She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Laura Heath of Blaney, and by six nephews, who will serve as pallbearers; R. T. Cook, C. E. Cook, M. A. Cook, W. M. Cook, O. L. Cook and Charlie Cook, who will serve at pallbearers.

Funeral services will be held from the residence at 6 o’clock Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Guy Hinson, pastor of the Jackson Creek Baptist Church, in charge. Interment will be in the family cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be: W. B. Joyce, P. M. Baldwin, J. W. Lee, I. H. Hollis, N. J. Keller, F. H. Foster, R. J. Hodge, Charles Culclasure, O. J. Gleaton, Clifton Sellers, Alexander Scruggs, and Samford Scruggs.
