Brigie Medlin Receives Several Fractured Ribs in Highway Crash.

Brigie Medlin, 45, of Blaney, was admitted to the Columbia hospital last night after he had been injured in a crash between an automobile and a truck near Dents shortley before 11 o’clock last night.

Highway patrol officers said that a man booked as J. D. Jones of Horatio had been placed in jail under a commitment order by Magistrate Scruggs. Jones was said to have been the driver of the truck which crashed with the car driven by Medlin.

Attaches of the hospital said that Medlin had received several fractured ribs, but that his condition was good.
