SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. LAYE

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Ila Laye, 21, of 321 Lower Street, who died Saturday night at the Columbia hospital after a brief illness, will be conducted at 2:45 this afternoon from the home of her mother, Mrs. J. M. Wood, 426 Pall Mall street, by the Rev. R. I. Corbett, pastor of South Side Baptist church. Interment will follow in Union Baptist churchyard near Blaney.

Mrs. Laye, wife of L. L. Laye, had lived in Columbia for the past ten years. She leaves a wide circle of friends who will be saddened to hear of her death.

Mrs. Laye, who lived at 321 Lower street, was the wife of L. L. Laye. She had lived in Columbia for the past ten years and leaves many friends who regret to learn of her death.
