Ann Cooper Sims

Ann Sims was born August 3, 1853 and the daughter of John Cooper and Nancy Johnson Cooper.

Mrs. Ann Sims, 80, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. F. Paschal of Blaney, Wednesday 1:30 in the afternoon, June 10, 1936.

Mrs. Sims was a member of Zion Methodist church, near Blythewood. She was a woman of many fine traits of character and leaves many friends who will be saddened to learn of her passing.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. T. H. Johnson, August, Ga,; Mrs. E. F. Pace, Wilmington, N. C.; and Mrs. W. F. Paschal, Blaney; two sons, J. C. Sims, Augusta, and W. A. Sims, Spartanburg.

Pallbearers were: E. J. Wilson, Grover Wilson, J. B. Hines. B. L. Maddox, L. C. Paschal and J. P. Abbott.

Funeral service were conducted this morning, June 11, 1936 from Zion Methodist church by the Rev. A. L. Willis, pastor of Ridgeway Baptist church. Interment followed in the churchyard.
