Cayce, Jan. 5 – Mr. and Mrs. M. V. Joyner and family were the guests of Mrs. Joyner’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gover Collum, in Batesburg Tuesday.

Legrand Spires spent last week in Savannah, Georgia, as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Spires.

Charlie Rickenbacker of Saint Matthews was the guest of his daughter, Mrs. Ida Redmon, Thursday.

Mrs. Dan Linder and sons, Tom Dan Linder, Jr., and Ernest Linder have returned after a weeks visit to friends and relatives in Savannah, Georgia.

Mrs. P. Spires of Savannah, Georgia, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Spires for some time.

Miss Geneva Neil has returned after spending the holidays with her parents in Brevard, North Carolina.

Mrs. Roy Thornton, with her son, Roy Thornton, Jr., spent last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Shuford and son have returned after a visit to friends in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Miss Thompson of Charleston is visiting her cousins, the Rev. and Mrs. R. A. Thompson.

The friends of E. L. Brown will regret to know that he is ill at the Baptist hospital.

Mrs. J. M. Spigner had as her guest Friday, Miss Anniebell Williman of Dixiana.

Mrs. L. B. Jackson and children, Mildred Jackson and Marion Jackson, visited Mrs. Gaskin in New Brookland last week.

Friends of Mrs. Robert Price will regret to know she is ill at her home.

Miss Nan Yon of Woodford spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hilderbrand.

Miss Ruby Harrelson of Green Sea is on an extended visit to friends and relatives here.

Mrs. L. L. Goodwin and children, Mary Jean Goodwin and Joyce Goodwin, returned Monday after spending several days with Mrs. Nettie Hankinson near Blackville.

Miss Evetta Shealy of Gilbert spent several days last week with her sister, Mrs. V. W. Lewis.

Misses Dothery Hagood and Coline Hughs are visiting relatives in Orangeburg.
