Prosperity, September 1, – Mr. and Mrs. William D. Dominick and sons, William Dominick, Jr., and George Dominick, Pittsfield, Massachusetts., are visiting Mrs. Abbie Dominick at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Bedenbaugh.

Mrs. and Mrs. J. C. Metts and baby moved Thursday to Blaney, where Mr. Metts becomes superintendent of the high school.

J. R. Bedenbaugh returned Friday from a three months’ stay in Asheville, North Carolina, where he received treatment at a sanatorium.

W. Rodney Counts left Monday for Orangeburg, where he has accepted work with Tom Summers, jeweler.

Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Wise and L. M. Wise, Jr., Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. Kreps Zeagler and children, Lone Star, spent the weekend with Mrs. Laura E. Wise.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moseley and W. E. Moseley have returned to Jacksonville, Fla., after a stay in Prosperity, their former home.

Mrs. George W. Harmon and Miss Martha Harmon spent last week visiting relatives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mrs. A. G. Wise had for weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Taylor and three children, Charleston: Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Wise, Ridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Wise and Miss Carolyn Wise, Greenwood, and A. B. Wise of Ellenton.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred James and Fred James, Jr., Greer, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Leaphart.

The Rev. W. E. Pugh, Mrs. Pugh and their son, Williams Pugh, Jr., left Tuesday for their home in Jacksonville, Fla., after spending a month’s vacation in Prosperity.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Counts, Spencer, North Carolina, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Counts.

Dr. and Mrs. L. D. Simpson, Kershaw, were guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Simpson.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wallace, Richmond, Virginia, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Price.

The Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Lutz, of Charlotte, North Carolina, were weekend guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Carl B. Caughman.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wyche, Spartanburg, spent Sunday with Mrs. C. T. Wyche.

The Rev. V. Y. Boozer, Salisbury, North Carolina, and his son, Herman Boozer, Birmingham, Alabama, visited relatives in Prosperity during the weekend.

The Rev. Charles A. Phillips, Mrs. Phillips and their children, Rosa Lee Phillips and George Phillips, Salisbury, spent the week visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Epting and other friends.

Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Rikard and Miss Sara Rikard, Atlanta, Georgia, returned home Tuesday after a visit to Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Counts.

Miss Willie Mae Wise was hostess to two tables of bridge players Thursday afternoon, complimenting her sister, Mrs. Kreps Zeagler of Lone Star.

Dr. and Mrs. J. I. Bedenbaugh, Dr. and Mrs. C. K. Wheeler, Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Counts were hosts at a wiener roast on Lake Murray Monday afternoon in honor of their guest, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Layfield and M. E. Layfield, Jr., of Augusta, Georgia.
