Miss Julia Starnes has returned to her home on River drive from a visit to Folly Beach and leaves today to spend the weekend at Ridgeway.

Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Mountjoy visited at Blaney last week.

Miss Annette Shannon, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. A. G. Mountjoy, on Seventh street, has returned to her at Blackstock.

Mrs. M. H. Mobley and Miss Elizabeth Cranford on St. Pettersburg, Fla., who have been visiting Mrs. T. W. Starnes on River drive, have gone to Florence to visit Mrs. Mobley’s son, Dr. R. M. Mobley.

Mrs. J. Sydes and children, Lalla Fay, Ruth and Christine, of Charlotte, who have been visiting Mrs. L. A. Mayfield on Columbia avenue, have returned to their home.

Mr. and Mrs. George B. Radcliffe and Mrs. and Mrs. W. L. Shipley visited relatives in Charlotte, N. C., last week.

Mrs. J. L. Hartin has returned to her home, 2903 River drive, after a very pleasant visit of two months in Galveston, Texas.

Miss Anne L. Crouch of St. Matthews is visiting Mrs. George Broome at her home on Twelfth street.

Mrs. J. K. Forrah of New York City is visiting Mrs. Harry Summers on River drive.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bonnoitt and children of 3000 Park street are spending a while at Myrtle Beach.

Mrs. H. F. Rush and children, Florence and Fred, Jr. are visiting the former’s mother at Georgetown.

Mr. and Mrs. Conover Hartin of Galveston, Texas, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hook on River drive. They visited at their old home at Sumter last week.

Mrs. George Broome and Miss A. L. Crouch of St. Matthews visited at Saluda last week.

Mrs. Ernest Gaillard, Miss Mary Gaillard and Edward Gaillard of Bennettsville visited friends in North Columbia last week.

J. N. Pearman was called to Honea Path last week to be with his mother, who is seriously ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Lollis visited at Camden last week.

Mrs. Paul Eaddy and children and Miss Wilhelmina Bowers are visiting at Lake City.

John Rodgers Jr., has returned to his home on Geiger avenue after a very pleasant visit to Washington, D. C.

Miss Dorothy Shealy of Little Mountain is visiting Miss Lena Mae Kempson on River drive.
