DALZELL, Oct. 31. – The Hillcrest Wildcats won a well played game from Bethune yesterday afternoon, 27 to 0. The Hillcrest Line out-charged the visitors and opened up big holes for the backs to wade through. Cato J. DuBose, Ross and L. Scarborough played well in the line. Willie G. Mabry, 80-pound end, did a good day’s work. Moore was best in the Hillcrest backfield, running for two touchdowns with pretty off-tackle plays. Manning and Weldon each scored one touchdown. Sullivan ran his team like a veteran. Meldon placed-kicked for two extra points and J. DuBose place-kicked the other. Blaney will be the next opponent for Hillcrest Friday, November 6.
