Ridgewood Camp

Ridgewood Camp, June 9. – Miss. Ollie Greene, superintendent of the sanatorium, spent Monday and Tuesday in Asheville, North Carolina, attending the graduation of her niece, Miss. Pauline Wall, from normal college. Miss Wall was also May queen of the school this year. She spent Friday night with Miss Greene at the camp, where she did substitute nursing last summer. Miss. Greene’s cousin, Alfred Neal of Washington, D C, accompanied her to Miss Wall’s graduation.

Miss Lulu Davis and Miss Viola Davis of the camp nursing staff left Monday for Kershaw, where they will spend their vacation.

Miss Anne O’Neill, who has been a patient at the camp for the last two years left Sunday for New York to visit her sister, Mrs Sullivan. Miss O’Neill will probably return later in the summer to her home in County Cork, Ireland.

Mrs John Lewis of Lake City was a visitor at the camp Thursday. Mrs. Lewis is a former superintendent of this sanatorium.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Riley, Mrs. Jack Riley and Pat Riley of Columbia were recent visitors at the camp.

Mrs. Electra Irick had as her guest during the week Prof. H L Bowlin, Mrs. P. S. Jones, Mrs. J. Y Antley, Mrs. Agnew Irick, Mrs. John Harbeson, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Woltz, Misses Juanita and Dorothy Woltz, Nillie Angtley and Sammie Mae Jones and Virgil Irick of Elloree and MRs. Ida W. Cox of Gainesville, Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Frick and Miss Hazel Frick of Columbia visited Mrs. E. W. Haynes Saturday.

Mrs. E. J. Williams and J. B. Wingard of Graniteville visited W. A. Windgard Wednesday.

Mrs. Eliza Singleton and Mrs. Allen Jones of Columbia visited friends at the camp Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Z. Miles. Miss Nina Miles and Reed Miles of Ridgeway and Miss Lila Miles of Columbia were guest of J K Davis during the week.

Mr. and Ms. J A Carmen and little granddaughter of Columbia visited B J Reynolds Sunday.

Mrs Andrew Borders and Mrs J D Sexton of Columbia visited Mrs Mimi Franklin last week.

Miss Elizabeth Hardy had as company during the week Mrs. Archibald Hardy, Mrs. A B Owings, Mrs J W Bunch and Miss Ruth Stokes of Columbia.

Mrs Fred Fowler of Columbia visited Mrs Stewart Simpson Saturday.

Mrs D. W. Brown and Leonard Brown of Columbia were guest of D. W. Brown during the week.

S. M. Douglas had as guest recently Mrs. S. M Douglas and son of Blaney and D. Leckie of Columbia.

Parker Davis of Columbia visited W. G. Davis Sunday.
