State Park Notes

Special to The State.

State Park, Dec. 20. Edward M. Toelle of Columbia was the guest during the week of Miss Jean Taylor.

Mrs. H. C. Lawson, J. H. Laswson and Brooks Emanuel of Sumter were the visitors of J. R. Lawson during the weekend.

J. Nelson Frierson, Dean of the law School of the University of South Carolina, conducted services here Sunday evening. A large number were in attendance and enjoyed the occasion.

Miss Ruth Covin of the sanatorium nursing staff spent the weekend at her former home in Winnsboro.

Edward C. Furtick of Columbia visitied friends here during the week.

R. J. Branham of Blaney was the guest during the latter part of the week of J. M. Hille here.

Mr. Mrs. H. G. Stevenson were the guest of relatives during the weekend in Chester county.

Miss Carrie Spivey of Lancaster was the guest recently of Miss Pearle Leitzey at the sanatorium.

Weldon M. Easterling of Columbia visited friends here during the week end.

Mr. and Mrs. Ferd O. Lawson of Sumter spent some time here with Rutledge Lawson recently.

Charles G. Cooper is at home for the holidays academy at College Park, Ga.

Mrs Daisy Schultz of Columbia visited friends here during the latter part of the week.

Mrs. Cart Holder of Fort Lawn spent Sunday here with C. T. HOlder in the Masonic Shack.
