Blaney, July 20, — Mrs. George Stout and daughter, Doris, and Brantley Carroll have returned to their home in Charleston after spending some time with Dr. and Mrs. W. D. Grisby.

Thomas Jeffers of Rock Hill spent last Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Mary Jeffers.

Miss Elizabeth Perry of Columbia is spendign some time here as the guest of friends and relatives.

Mrs. L. T. Thornten has returned home after spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Daniel Brown, in Cayce.

Miss Floy Lanford of Spartanburg is the guest this week of Miss Valdora Perry.

Mrs. J. D. Watson has as her guest this week, her sister-in-law, Mrs. Julian Flaherty, and Miss Rebecca Jackson of Fayetteville, N.C. and Mrs. M. R. Holden of Raleigh, N.C.

Miss Lillie Belle Evans has returned home after visiting friends in Columbia.

Woodard Kelly of Branchville is visiting his mother, Mrs. Kate Kelly.

S. W. Rose and son, Stanley, accompanied by A. K. Rose motored to Winston-Salem, N. C., Wednesday to visit a friend of long acquaintance, Gilliard Gahney.

Miss Mae Belle Moore has returned to her home after spending several days in Columbia with her sister, Mrs. Ezel Kelly.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Hawkins have returned to Charlotte, N. C., after spending several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Monroe.

Mrs. A. C. Rose and daughter, Martha, have returned after visiting friends and relatives in Laurens.

Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brown and son, Harry, of Spartanburg were pleasant visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Rose Tuesday.

Miss Mattie Rabon is spending some time with friends in Columbia.

Last Sunday evening Dr. and Mrs. W. D. Grisby entertained at supper a number of their Charleston friends.
