Class Play Given By Blaney School

Blaney, S.C., April 27 — The senior class presented “Mil Order Brides” on Friday evening in the school auditorium to a well-filled house. this was the annual class play and all the players did very good work in making it a success.

Mrs. J. J. Gehse and daughter, Marilce and Catherine, of Weehawken, N. J.,  were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Price last week.

Mrs. J. D. Watson was the guest of Mrs. A. C. Cox, in Camden Tuesday.

Mrs. M. Sutton, of Columbia spent last week-end with Mrs. B. I. Maddox.

Miss Olive Andrea, of Florence, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. C. S. Andrea.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Rose and children, of Charleston, have returned home after visiting their father, John I Rose.

Miss Nancy Sanders of Columbia, is the guest of Mrs. Hiram Sanders.

Tom Jefferies has returned to Charleston after visiting his mother Mrs. Mary Jeffers here.

D. B. Johnson and children, of Waynesboro, Ga., were guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Sessions.

Mrs. A. T. Coleman has returned from a visit to her sister, Mrs. Kate Dennis, in Columbia.

Several of the teacher attended the Kershaw county teachers association in Camden Saturday. The county-wide spelling contest was a feature of this meeting, and Allen Edens, of the Blaney high school won first place in the county, at Winthrop college in Jully.
