BLANEY, S. C., Sept, 29. – Misses Susie Shannon and Jean Starnes attended the Carolina Erskine game in Columbia Saturday.

Miss Willie May Andrea has begun work in the Pine Grove School where she has charge of the first grade.

Miss Alma Wood spent the weekend in Columbia with her brother Howard Wood.

Mrs. Fava E. Cribb has returned to Florence, accompanied by her sister, Miss Olive Andrea, who will spend sometime there.

Mrs. J. R. Dinkins had as her guest Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bell and Miss Lucille Dinkins, of Columbia where he spent the week-end.

Asbury Martin has returned from Columbia where he spent the week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Goff had as their guest Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Outlaw of Columbia.

Gorden Moore has returned to Columbia after visiting his parents here.

Miss Dezma Monroe has returned to Summerland College after visiting her parents here.

Mrs. Ruth Bean of Monroe, N. C., was the guest this week of Mrs. Ernest Bailey.

Mrs. C. S. Andrea and daughters, Connie Lee Andrea and Willie May Andrea, spent the week-end at Greyfields, their country home in the Blue Ridge foothills of Greenville country.

Mrs. Carrie Hair, of Columbia, spent the past week with her daughter, Mrs. Paul Ross.

Mrs. Myrtle Lynch, of Columbia was the guest of Mrs. Minnie McLendon Sunday.

Mrs. D. W. Traxler, of Branchville, and her little daughter Margie Traxler, have joined Mr. Traxler here and they have an apartment with Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge Bowen.

Mrs. Sallie Sanders and daughter, Ima Sanders, left Monday for Jacksonville, Fla., where they will spend sometime.

John Richardson, of Charlotte, N. C., is the guest this week-end of Mr. and Mrs. Alen C. Rose.
