Blaney, Nov. 6. – Monday afternoon in the Grammar school the teachers’ entertained their pupils with Halloween parties in the classrooms. Games and pranks of the season were enjoyed after which apples and candy were served for refreshments.

Heyward Keels entertained a number of his boy friends with a Halloween frolic Monday night.

Tuesday night a number of the high school set enjoyed a weiner roast and ‘possum hunt in the Wateree swamp.

Lever Motley and Coley Motley entertained a number of friends with a musicale at the country home of their father Wednesday night.

All three departments of the school have interesting booths at the county fair in Camden this week.

The friends of A. K. Rose are glad to see him on the streets again after being confined to his room for several weeks with a broken hip.
