Blaney, Oct. 8 – Mr. and Mrs. Willis Ross of Columbia spent last weekend with their parents.

Mrs. L. D. Evans has as her guest for the association Mrs. D. Kelly and daughter, Ruby Kelly, of Columbia and Miss Cora Harmon of Lykesland.

Mrs. J. W. Harrison and daughter, Carolyn Harrision, of Senoia, Ga., are visiting her father, T. P. Shell.

Dr. W. M. Whiteside, superintendent of the Baptist hospital of Columbia, was the speaker at the chapel hour Wednesday in the high school auditorium.

Miss Olive Andrea of Florence is visiting her mother, Mrs. C. S. Andrea.

Mrs. Almeade Boykin of Charlotte, N. C. is visiting her sister, Mrs. E. H. Bowen.

Gorden Moore of Columbia was the guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Moore of Lugoff.

Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Motley have returned to their home in Columbia after visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Ross.

Misses Elise Rose and Florrie Mae Ross, students fo the South Carolina university, spent last weekend with their parents in Blaney.

Asbury Martin will represent the agricultural class of the Blaney high school at the State fair.
